Coming along well

Thats the new icon :)

I have included all the suggestions that people made from KartMate Lite into the new version of KartMate. This version also includes the ability to create your own values for the setup. Do you want to run 30psi, but the app only lets you set up to 20psi? Then no problems! KartMate now has an "Other" option where you can type the value you wish to record.

There are still a few bugs to sort out, but I am still hoping for a release of KartMate between October and November.

  1. Hi Dave,
Using your Kart Mate Lite app, it's great!
Off course I have 'some' wishes, I hope you are working on them for the Pro app: addition of track condition, air humidity, more front track spacer options, Rotax needle options, clip position, more rear sprocket options, tyre pressure in bar and an extra info field. Would also be great to be able to duplicate a setup.
Keep up the good work, I'm looking forward to the upgrade.

  2. Thanks for the comments Peter.

I am happy to say that most of your suggestions have already been included in the new version. I have weather condition, (Fair, hot, rain) but didn't consider track condition. What values would you suggest for that? Slow, Fast, Dirty, Grippy, wet?

As for more rear sprocket options, if there isn't one available, you can now type it in directly to the application.

Tyre pressure in bar will be a hard one. But as with sprockets, if you don't want to set the value to one of the predefined options, you could just type it in the textfield directly. Not perfect of course, but thats the best I can promise for now.

I want to include fuel/oil ratio's. So with that, I am going to have to include metric and imperial system support. I will add tyre pressure bars then too as location preferences.

The initial release won't include the ability to copy the setup, but I have designed the application so that that feature can be added easily at a later stage. You will also be able to upload, download and email setups too :)

Thanks again for your comments, they are appreciated.

  3. Hello Dave,
    Thanks for your quick reply.
For the track condition I am thinking of something as simple as Dry, Moist, Wet. For the other suggestions a free text field will be an easy solution.
Good luck with the good work,
    Peter
